1Service Description

BrainSort is a productivity application developed by benjagc2002 that uses artificial intelligence to help you organize your thoughts. The application allows you to:

  • Write "brain dumps" (mental downloads) in free-form text
  • Automatically classify content into tasks, events, notes, and checklists using AI
  • Sync with your calendar
  • Access iOS widgets
  • Sync data across devices

2Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using BrainSort, you accept these Terms of Service. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you should not use the application.

You must be at least 13 years old to use this application. If you are under 18, you confirm that you have the consent of your parent or legal guardian.

3Acceptable Use

When using BrainSort, you agree to:

  • Use the app for personal organization and productivity
  • Create legal and appropriate content
  • Keep your device secure — your data lives on it, not with us
  • Report bugs or security issues

❌ Prohibited Uses

  • Use the app for illegal activities
  • Attempt to reverse engineer or tamper with the app
  • Reverse engineer or modify the application
  • Use the app to store or process unlawful content
  • Create content that violates third-party rights
  • Use the app for spam or phishing
  • Resell or redistribute the app or its content

4Intellectual Property

Your Content

You retain all rights to everything you write in BrainSort (brain dumps, tasks, notes, steps). We ask for no license over it, because we never receive it: your content is stored on your device and processed there. See our Privacy Policy.

Our Property

BrainSort, including its code, design, logos, trademarks, and original content, is the property of benjagc2002. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works without express authorization.

5Subscription Terms

BrainSort offers free and paid features:

Free Plan

The core loop is free to use. Some features and some volume are reserved for PRO; the app tells you exactly when you reach that point, before you pay anything.

Premium Plan

  • Subscription is billed monthly or annually
  • Payment is charged to your iTunes account upon purchase confirmation
  • Subscription automatically renews unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period
  • You can manage and cancel your subscription from your App Store account settings
  • Refunds are handled according to Apple's policies

Lifetime

  • A single payment, not a subscription: nothing renews and nothing is charged again
  • Unlocks the same PRO features as the subscription, for as long as the app exists
  • Restorable on your other devices with the same Apple ID

6Limitation of Liability

BrainSort is provided "as is" and "as available". To the maximum extent permitted by law:

  • We do not guarantee that the app will be free of errors or interruptions
  • We are not responsible for data loss due to technical failures
  • AI classification is assistive and may contain errors; always verify important information
  • We are not responsible for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
  • Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid in the last 12 months

7Service Availability

We strive to keep BrainSort available at all times, but:

  • Interruptions may occur due to maintenance, updates, or technical issues
  • We reserve the right to modify or discontinue features with prior notice
  • Third-party services (AI, storage) may experience outages beyond our control

8Termination

You can stop using BrainSort at any time by deleting the app from the app settings.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access if:

  • You violate these Terms of Service
  • You use the app in ways that could harm us or other users
  • You fail to pay subscription fees
  • You stop using the app — there is no account for us to close

9Modifications to Terms

We may update these Terms of Service occasionally. We will notify you of significant changes through the app or by email. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes your acceptance of the new terms.

10Governing Law

These terms are governed by applicable laws. Any dispute will first be resolved through good faith negotiation. If an agreement cannot be reached, the parties agree to submit to the jurisdiction of the competent courts.
