Privacy Policy

We do not ask for, receive, or store an email address, a name, a profile picture, a phone number, or a location. We do not operate accounts, so there is no login and no profile.

Above all: we never see your brain dumps, your tasks, your notes or your steps. They are written on your device and they stay there.

Everything you capture is stored in BrainSort's own storage on your iPhone. Deleting the app deletes that storage and everything in it.

One honest caveat that is not ours to control: if you keep an iCloud or computer backup of your iPhone, Apple's backup may include the app's data. That copy belongs to Apple and is governed by Apple's privacy policy, not by this one.

When you dump something, BrainSort decides what it is and how to break it down on your device. On iPhones that support Apple Intelligence it uses Apple's on-device model; on every other iPhone it uses plain rules built into the app. Both run offline.

Your text is not sent to us, to OpenAI, or to any other processor. Earlier versions of BrainSort could route text through a server for this; that path was removed and the app no longer ships with any way to reach it.

These are optional. The app only touches them if you turn them on, and iOS asks you first.

• Dictation. We use Apple's speech recognition to turn your voice into text. Depending on your iPhone and language, Apple may process that audio on Apple's servers. That processing is Apple's, under Apple's privacy policy — we never receive the audio or the transcript.
• Calendar and Reminders. If you grant access, the app reads and writes on your device only, so your items can show up where you already look.

If you buy BrainSort PRO, the purchase is processed by Apple. We use RevenueCat to check whether a purchase is active.

For that, RevenueCat receives a random identifier and your purchase history — never your name, your email, or anything you wrote in the app. That data is not linked to your identity and is not used to track you across apps or websites. We do not run advertising or third-party analytics SDKs.

BrainSort is not directed at children under 13. Since we collect no personal information at all, we hold no data about anyone, of any age.

Laws such as the GDPR and the CCPA give you the right to access, correct, export or delete the personal data a company holds about you. In our case the answer is unusually simple: we hold none, so there is nothing for us to hand over or erase.

There is no account to close. To remove your data, delete the app. For purchase records, Apple and RevenueCat act as the processors — you can request removal by writing to us and we will pass it on.

If a future version of BrainSort ever sends data off your device, this page changes before that version ships, and the date at the top changes with it. Silence would be the worst thing we could do here.
